3. Payment Processing & Terms

These terms govern all financial transactions processed through estaie:

3.1 Security & Payment Gateways

All online payments made on estaie are processed securely through certified, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways (including Stripe, CCAvenue, and Tamara). Raw payment card numbers and security codes (CVV) are vaulted by the licensed payment processors and are never stored on estaie servers.

3.2 Booking Inclusions & Currency

• All prices displayed on estaie reflect monthly all-inclusive rates, covering rent, utilities (water and electricity), high-speed Wi-Fi, and recurring maintenance where stated.
• Transactions are charged in the currency selected or displayed at checkout (e.g., AED, SAR, USD, EUR, GBP). Exchange rates or foreign transaction fees may apply depending on your card-issuing bank.

3.3 Fractional Deposits & Installments

Where a fractional payment plan is selected, the initial downpayment is charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance is automatically scheduled and charged to your vaulted payment method in accordance with your confirmed reservation schedule.

3.4 Security Deposits

When required by a host or property operator, a refundable security deposit is pre-authorized or charged prior to move-in. The deposit is refunded to your original payment method following check-out and property inspection, typically within 5 to 14 business days.

4. Data Security & Retention

4.1 Security Measures

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. Access is strictly limited to authorized personnel, agents, and service providers who have a legitimate business need to know.

4.2 Data Retention

We only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements. By law, basic customer transaction records are retained for statutory periods in accordance with UAE commercial and tax regulations.
